I immigrated to the USA in 1969 with a degree in mechanical drawing, specializing in the tool and die industry. While continuing my education in mechanical engineering, I took a position with the tri-states largest door company. During this time I installed doors and was afforded the opportunity to learn the door trade first hand. Two years later, I started my first company. The American Automatic Door Company was borne. We specialized in automatic door openers and were one the first to do so. During, this time I completed my education at night. Five years latter, with an ever expanding, product line AA Door became the largest door company in the tri-state area. Our installations exceeded 10,000 units a year in 1980. The company grew into manufacturing our own line of garage doors, which were installed and distributed in multiple states as far as Florida from our Cincinnati, Ohio headquarters.

In 2004 the company expanded our market to include supplying the greater Mid-East, and projects located in various countries around the globe. We are proud to include Sabic Employees Villas in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Jumeirah Golf Estates in Dubai, just to name a few of the many projects we have been suppliers for.
